Happy Sunday friends and family,

I hope you all had a lovely weekend together. Thank you to all my families who came to see me during conferences, it is always so lovely to connect in person and celebrate your amazing kiddos!

Thank you again to the parents who organized popcorn treat day for us on Wednesday so kind, and a sweet gesture during a long week and late nights at school.

Wednesday is our library day. 

On Monday, we will be starting our Trickster residency, and then the evening performance is on Thursday night. Please see the parent update for more information. Students were sent home their yellow tickets on Tuesday and are in their black zippy pouches.

• I can listen to pink shirt stories and share what it was about.

• I can make connections between the story and my own life.

• I can talk about how characters show kindness or unkindness.

• I can answer questions about a story using details.

• I can draw a picture to show my ideas.

• I can write a sentence about kindness.

• I can stretch out words to hear the sounds when I write.

• I can use spaces between my words.

• I can add details to my drawing to match my writing.

• I can design a T-shirt that shares a positive message.

• I can take turns when talking.

• I can listen respectfully when others are sharing.
