Hello families!

Welcome to a brand new school year-and welcome to First Grade Footprints with Ms. Craik, our class blog where I'll be sharing special moments, learning adventures, and little victories we make together throughout the year.

Grade 1 is a big step in your child's learning journey, and I'm so excited to be walkng alongside them (and you) as we leave our "first grade footprints" in reading, writing, math, science, social studies and beyond. This is a year full of growth, discovery, and wonder. From learning how to build sentences and read, to exploring our Alberta community and mastering new math skills, your child will be challenged and celebrated every step of the way.

This blog is a space where you'll get a peek into our classroom world-photos, updates, highlights, and helpful reminders. Whether it's a snapshot of a science experiment, a classroom memory, or a proud "I did it!" milestone, I'll use this space to share how we're learning and growing together this year.

Thank you for entrusting me with your child this year. I look forward to building a caring connected classroom community-and partnering with you to make Grade 1 an unforgettable year!
